SR-814
GSM transmitter serving as a central
producent: Pronal

SR – 814 is a universal, proffessional GSM transmitter with an addition function as an alarm central, using GSM/GPRS network to for reports and notification. It enables tramsnitting information by GPRS service. Adapted to work with GSM SMS/CLIP stations, it also enables sending information using “CLIPs”.
The SR – 814 is a perfect device to use in monitoring alarm systems, fire protection systems, industry automation systems etc. It also enables sending information as a two-digit SMS code (immediately after the event) to a GSM station.
Entering a text (max 160 marks) and sending messages to up to 36 station numbers is possible for personal notification purposes (only in GSM mode).
Because of its simple usage, the transmitter can be used in single-family homes, public buildings, workshops etc.
Advantages of the transmitter:
- identifying events using “CLIPs”
- ability to send reports to monitoring station by GPRS
- 14 extensively configurable inputs
- four remote-controlled outputs, mono- and bistable
- alarm central function
- intelligent tests
- individual real time clock (using QUIK 2406B module)
- 2000 events cache
- power supply form an AC or DC source
- battery charger
PROPERTIES OF SR – 814
SENDING ALARM INFORMATION
Using GPRS service along with CLIP/SMS makes the SR – 814 a universal and versatile device. A unique solution of using CLIP technology reduces the cost of transmission to the monitoring station. The configuration enables a choice of reaction for an event as CLIP, CLIP and SMS, CLIP or SMS, SMS only. The properties of Proxy – 600 monitoring station allow defining 36 different events as CLIPs. SR – 814 also enables sending information as SMS (maximum length – 160 marks).
SENDING TECHNICAL REPORTS
The device sends reports as user declared, 160-mark report codes. They provide information concerning:
- lack of mains power supply (niformation sent immediately or after 1 – 99 [h])
- return of mains power supply
- emergency power supply failure
- return of the emergency power supply to normal state
REMOTE CONTROLLED INPUT
An authorized user can remotely control inputs using an access code. The user can employ four mono- or bistable ouptuts.
PROGRAMMING
All transmitter’s parameters may be programmed through RS232 port using CENTAURII software. Base station numbers, SMS centre, PIN and access code may be programmed remotely by sending SMS.
INPUTS
The transmitter’s inputs enable individual configuration of:
- input activating by choosing reaction type (no reaction, CLIP, CLIP/SMS, CLIP and SMS, SMS)
- line type (NO or NC)
- line activation time since its detection (0,1 – 10,0 [s])
- number of releases to block a line (1 - 255), deleted automatically each 1 – 24 [h]
- impulse meter counting number of impulses for one release (1 – 9999)
All inputs have a common configuration of line blocking time for successive activation after line release (0 – 9 minutes). The device has a software lock limiting the number of SMS sent during one hour to 255.
OUTPUTS
In SMS release mode there are four mono- or bistable outputs available, programmed freely. In central mode there are two monostable outputs available.
TESTS
The configuration comprises:
- activating/disactivating tests
- test type (CLIP/SMS); two-digit code for SMS
- CLIP length (short/medium/long)
- test sending interval (1 [min] to 1 [month])
- number of repeated CLIP/SMS sendings after a failed sending attempt (1 – 255)
INTELLIGENT TEST ADJUSTING
They are performed automatically and consist in extending the testing time interval by a certain prime number when the base station number is detected to be busy. After receiving information about the arrival of test, SR – 814 memorizes the new interval and subsequent tests are sent according to the adjusted data. This mechanism enables each transmitter to adjust every time to a free time window in the base station number.
EVENT CACHE
The device has its own real-time clock using the GSM WAVECOM QUIK 2406B moule version. Each event appearing in the system is saved in EEPROM non-volatile memory. The cache holds up to 1950 events. It is possible to download any number of them through RS232 port using computer software.
Technical data:
· main power supply 10 – 15V DC (min 1,5 A)
